A £63 million project marks the birth of a flagship Manchester hospital for Spire Healthcare, a leading private hospital with locations nationwide.
Due to BioClad’s competitive pricing, our antimicrobial wall cladding has been specified throughout the hospital. This allows the contractor to meet budget and ensure the hospital can incorporate some of the most up-to-date medical equipment and facilities.
The antimicrobial wall cladding at Spire in Didsbury features Biocote antimicrobial technology which reduces bacteria by 99.9% in just two hours. Antimicrobial wall cladding helps to ensure hospitals can run in the most hygiene and safe environment possible.
The new hospital will have six operating theatres and a large Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) together with advanced diagnostic and imagery equipment. Staff at Spire Didsbury will have the opportunity to offer new tests, undertake highly complex surgery and deliver safe, high-quality clinical care in a new modern, purpose built clinical facility.
Following BioClad’s great work at Spire in Didsbury, our antimicrobial wall cladding has also been specified at the contractor’s next project at Chesterfield Cancer Centre.
