Medicall Stamps Bioclad Mark in India

The last few years have seen Bioclad really spread our wings into international markets. We are delighted now to be working with a growing network of the right profile of selling partners to promote our products into new markets and to grow our business in markets where we have traded for some years.

Following his recent visit to India, Andy Newbould sanctioned our first exhibition of Bioclad at the Medicall Expo in Chennai. India is a massive potential market for Bioclad’s hygienic wall cladding solutions and we are working with our distributors, Reproductive Technologies (RTP) and Go Healthe Services (GHS) who are working together in a joint venture to generate long term sales for our antimicrobial wall panels and ancillary products. Successes so far include installations at the ICU and IVF laboratories at the Jananam Fertility Hospital in Chennai, operating theatres and ICU laboratories at NU Hospital in Bangalore, and a Liver Transplant Theatre at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, also in Chennai.

Medicall is one event in our marketing and promotion plan for India and we believe it will be fundamental to achieving our objectives in future years. The exhibition took place over three days from 31st July to 2nd August 2015 at the Chennai International Trade & Convention Centre, and showcased a range of products and services for the Medical & Pharmaceutical sectors. Its 430 exhibitors welcomed 4,000 industry professionals, and early feedback from the show is very encouraging for Bioclad.

RTP/GHS constructed the Bioclad booth to show potential customers how Bioclad looks in situ, to demonstrate the high quality of their installation team, and to explain to the market the significant advantages of installing antimicrobial wall protection in combating a range of bacteria, protozoans, mould, fungi, and other micro-organisms. The next few days will see RTP following up and processing the large number of enquiries from the show, which we feel will be a landmark in Bioclad’s development in India.
